Every vlog worth a darn these days must have one key ingredient. The 1 has 2: Great subject matter – TV,(‘ nuff said) and a smart talkin’ know-it-all TV junkie. Brenda Halsey possesses the wit and back woods southern charm to keep you coming back for more.
She’s an addicting little habit you just can’t get enough of – and the 1 vlog you can’t miss. The 1 is TV talk in its finest form; raw, uncut (ok, maybe a little censored – she’ll say just about anything if you let her) and funny to those that know funny.
To make this description less boring..Yes, we are more awesome than you!
Here’s a little bit more about Brenda.
Brenda Halsey was raised in a small East Texas town by a supportive, loving
family who were early adopters of HBO, Cinemax and Showtime to supplement
their meager network offerings. Brenda is a lifelong watcher of television
and counts her earliest memories of the Tuesday night (Happy Days, Laverne &
Shirley, Three’s Company) and Friday night (Love Boat followed by Fantasy
Island) lineups among her happiest.
After studying Radio, TV and Film at college whilst listening to the radio
and also watching tv and film, Brenda graduated Cum Laude at watching tv and
film. To be clear, she is not a licensed professional, although she does
watch them on TV. She would also like to point out that she is not a TV
critic affiliated with any paper or network, she is simply critical.
However, she only mocks the ones she loves.
Because of childhood hardships (Brenda did not get the FOX network until
her late teens), Brenda vowed then to make it her mission to have digital
cable TV in every room of her house. In late 2005, Brenda finally achieved
her lifelong goal and ushered in a new age of enlightenment…and
unemployment. She lives with her loving husband, her dog and all her tv’s
in a Southern Metroplex.
